Bread with Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1 kg rye flour
  • 1 kg whole wheat flour
  • sourdough
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 l slightly water
  • 250 g Pumpkin Seeds

Instructions

  • Make from the flour, yeast, salt, water and pumpkin seeds a soft dough. Let the dough prove for 3 hours. Knead again, form a loaf and wrap tightly in a towel. Leave the dough rest for an hour, place on a greased baking sheet and prick with a fork. Preheat the oven on 250 °C. Set in a jar with water. Insert the bread. Switch back after 10 minutes at 200 °C. Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Switch off the oven. Let the bread in it another 10 minutes.
