Can you freeze Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil?

In this process, suspended particles, which have not been deposited as droids, are precipitated.

These naturally contained protein constituents do not dissolve even when heated, and are visible as precipitation on the bottle wall. From a health view point, these precipitated substances are not a problem, there is only a sensory or optical degradation of the quality of the Pumpkin Seed Oil.

In conventional oil refining (e.g. sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, etc.), this process is deliberately carried out so that the precipitated substances can subsequently be filtered out. However, this filtering is forbidden in the traditional production of Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil.

Unfortunately, the transport of core oil can lead to this process - for example, when the oil is left in the car during the winter, or when trucks come to a stop over the weekend, and the Pumpkin Seed Oil is exposed to such low temperatures.

It is only possible to prevent this "winterisation" by allowing the core oil to settle long enough and not to store the oil too coldly during the settling phase and not hermetically close it (so that no vacuum is produced in the settling vessel).
